China : launching of the website 'www.bigbrussels.be'
We want to inform you of the recent launching of the web site www.bigbrussels.cn in China.
This website aims at promoting 'Brussels, Capital of Europe' as an investissement platform and it was launched on Novembre 28th, 2007 in the premises of the Belgian Ambassy in Beijng by our economic and commercial attaché in Shanghai, Mr. Stefano Missir di Lusignano, in the presence of Ambassador Bernard Pierre and of Mr. Jacques Evrard, Director of 'Invest In Brussels' (Brussels Enterprise Agency).
The website is in Chinese, and is aimed at potential Chinese investors.
Special about this website is that it permits the downloading of a series of podcasts (of which the first is available right now) presenting Mr. Gary Guo, administrator of the Chinese company Westlake Clutch Belgium, established in Brussels since 2006, as the main character. He will become, so to speak, our Brussels ambassador to the Chinese business community...
The website was presented to the specialised Chinese press, to the online press and to the main Chinese portals.
